Thrilled to be included in this beautiful eno Magazine from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. Our dinghy, Scoter, is so photogenic. To view it online and read the rest, click here. My photo is on page 21.
In 1994, I moved to my great grandfather’s farm in North Carolina from San Diego where I had been living on a sailboat. At the time, the farm seemed like a better place to raise children. I had dreams of growing my own food and making a profit on the excess, neither of which happened. After twenty years, the kids are nearly grown and I’m back to boating. Still, the farm has its charm. The 1880s barn has many stories to tell.
